– Toulouse- Pamiers by train. Pamiers- Lavelanet by bus (dowload bus schedule from Pamiers to Lavelanet and Montsegur too)
By car :  Cedar House is less than 5 minutes walk from Lavelanet town center yet it is surrounded by nature.
Cedar House is overlooking the Touyre river and the south part of the city. Here you will discover an amazing view on the Pyrenees mountains, including the famous Saint-Barthélémy peak and the inescapable Montségur Castle.
To access Cedar House from the town center. You need to take the « chemin des Rives de Benaix » (or « route de Benaix ») directly thirty meters right after the city’s central roundabout following Perpignan direction (avenue Général de Gaulle). Beware of the sharp turn (facing the « bureau de tabac ») which can be tricky when there is a lot of traffic as you need to swerve to the left before turning right. But it is possible! It is much easier if you come from the opposite side from Quillan or Perpignan. In case there is a lot of traffic, it might be advised to push further 400 meters and turn round in front of the chemists.
Cedar House is approximately 400 meters further, on the « route de Benaix » opposite the « bureau de tabac ». It is on your left hand side, at number 24. You might be surprised by finding that number 24 is following number 3, the previous house !
